Christmas Cookies

Well today Mommy and I decided to make some Christmas cookies. They tasted really good. I now have learned if I push the chair over to the counter I can reach everything up there. It works out perfectly. The frosting was also really good!!!

Playing in the Snow with my Cousins

Well after shoveling the driveway I went over to over to see Sam and Emily. They were playing at their neighbor's house so we went sledding and had a great time!!!

I love the snow. Soon I will be able to shovel the driveway by myself!!! Boy it is cold!!

Well I have finally figured out how to use this thing Mommy calls a Jumperoo. I am starting to love it. The other night I was in for like an hour and I was falling asleep in it but I still kept jumping

Well as you can see I am getting bigger!!! I just thought I would share a cute picture of me watching TV. I do not like to roll over but I will sit up all day long. Maybe I should just go straight to crawling and forget this rolling over thing. I will let you know how that goes! Oh yeah think I have some teeth coming in but with the help of some teething tablets and orajel, I should be OK! Have a good week!!!

Thanksgiving 07

It was a great Thanksgiving. I preferred Jello over everything but that is what it is about. So as you can see we ate at my Aunt and Uncle's house. Above is a picture of grandma dancing with Emily. We had Christmas music on and enjoyed watching football.
Here we are getting ready to eat. We did not spend much time at the table. But we were prepared with a plastic tablecloth under us.
Then after we ate a ton of food we were all tired!!! Here is Sam taking a nap with Torrin. How cute, I know. I was great to have Grandma (Grammy) and Grandpa (Popee) in. I think we wore out Grammy though. They said I was a handful. I do love to read my books! And Torrin was teething so she was not in the best of moods. Oh well the fun of being little. Thanksgiving at Daycare!!!

Well today was Thanksgiving at my daycare. It was fun. Mommy and Daddy stopped by and ate lunch with me. I had Turkey, stuffing, green beans, and as Mommy was leaving I was trying some pumpkin pie. We also went and visited "the Baby" Torrin and she was just waking up from a nap. She seems to be doing much better. I swear she is always sick!!! Well I better go take my nap. Have a good day!

November 18

My turn!! Well today was a little more exciting. We went to Target and then Meijer for some grocery shopping! I got an Elmo book and I love it. I even slept with it last night. Then I took a long nap. Torrin was doing better today. She is eating a lot more! Oh after my nap I went and visited my cousin's and watched Uncle Alex put up Christmas lights. Then we went over to the Condo (Grandma and Grandpa Higginbotham's) and vacuumed and finished hanging up the ceiling fan. It was nice. Then I took a long bath, ate some dinner, read some books, and went to bed! Torrin just hung out. She is starting to be more aware but I cannot wait until she is moving and grooving. Oh well I guess I will have to wait. Have a good week and a Happy Thanksgiving!!! Oh we will MISS Auntie Heather and Uncle Flip but we love them!!!

November 17th

Well another weekend gone by. I have not been feeling to well the past week but I think I am about to turn a corner. I am looking better and not as congested!!! Today we did not do much. Just hung out and slept. I needed it. Finn was a little bored so she got a little stir crazy. Oh and Mommy put up the Christmas decorations. I really like the Christmas Tree. Daddy was like what the heck are you doing! It is not even Thanksgiving but Mommy said that Grandma and Grandpa were coming and this is the only time to do it. Other then that we just hung out and got kisses from Jake.

Potty Training

As you can see Mommy has started Potty Training with Finn. Well she thinks Mr. Bear needs a little potty training too. And yes they both washed their hands afterwards.

This is my favorite picture of potty training. Mommy thought it would be funny to give Finn an issue of Sports Illustrated and have her pose just like Daddy. Well turns out was not just posing, she did exactly what Daddy would have done!!!

My New Car (aka Mommy's Car)

As I mentioned earlier, we got a new car on Halloween. I love it. I am having a little trouble reaching but in time. Oh yeah and I have already killed the battery once because I was playing in it so much. Oh well not my problem! Just thought I would show off some pictures of me driving!!!

Happy Halloween!!

Just thought I would wish you all a happy Halloween!!! I love trick or treating! I went for the full two hours and wanted to go more. I did not get to bed until after 9. Wooo Hoo I love candy. Oh yeah my grandma and Great Aunt Fran came and visited. I love Fran she was so funny and would chase me around the house. And I also went and visited my cousin's, they were a cheerleader for the Bears. Go Bears!!! I hope you guys had as good a time as I did. Oh and mommy god a new car - a Yukon and I love to drive it.

Carving Pumpkins

Well on Sunday we decided it was about time to carve our pumpkins. I was not much help since I was in my bouncy the hold time but I enjoyed being outside. Finn really enjoyed scooping out the pumpkin guts.
She was not quite sure what to make of the whole thing but I think she enjoyed being outside and playing with something different. Mommy even carved her name on the pumpkin. It was fun.

Mowing the Lawn

Just to let you know I am learning to mow the lawn. Mommy and I spent forever mowing but the lawn is looking good. Am I good or what!

Well today we went over to see Uncle Alex, Aunt Chrissie, Sam, Emily, and Max. Uncle Alex was making Chili for him and Daddy. We got there about nap time so I slept in Sam's crib. The girls were so excited to see Torrin aka The BahBah. They just love to touch her eyes and give her kisses. Finally after the Bears lost we got to go outside. Auntie Chrissie decorated for Halloween so we decided to take some picture. I was a nice family day. I am glad my cousin's live so close!!!

October 27, 2007

Well another weekend came and went. On Saturday not much happened! It was cold and rainy out. Finn and mommy went shopping with Auntie Chrissie and the twins. I guess the twins were not happy so they went home and Mommy went to Target. The big news is that Finn can now drink out of a straw!!! Yeah for Finn. Other then that I just played in my Jumperoo that Grandma bought me and laid around. Oh yeah and I started Cereal. I really liked it.

Baby Legs

Torrin here: Well my mom found something new for me to where and I just love them. They are called baby legs. They are like leg warmers but they cover my whole leg. The are nice when mom goes to change my diaper too. She does not have to take my pants off so I do not get cold. I have a couple pairs but in these pictures I am wearing my rainbow ones. Aren't they so cute!!!!

Another weekend

Finn Here: Just another weekend here. It is nice to be home with Mommy, Daddy, baby Torrin, and Jake. On Saturday, I helped Mommy make some waffles. As you can see in the pictures I was having a good time. Then we went to lunch with one of Daddy's friends. They took us to Cheddar's. Torrin slept most of the time but not me!!! I wanted to go and look at the fish in the fish tank constantly. They had a lot of fish. Then I ate some carrots but my favorite thing was the ultimate cookie. I had it everywhere! On my face, in my hair, and even on my shoes. But it was so worth it!!! On Sunday we made pancakes and then went to Target. I loved all the Halloween Candy! Oh I forgot to mention we got ghosted on Saturday. That is when one of your neighbors fill a bag with Halloween treats and rings your doorbell and runs. Then you have to do it to 2 other neighbors. You have to put a ghost on your door so you know who has been ghosted. Ok back to Sunday, I also went and said hi to my cousins'. Then after my nap, dad and I went to the grocery store and he bought me a play umbrella stroller. I love it. Later on a got my bath and went and played outside with Alex (my neighbor). Other then that it is back to daycare. Oh yeah Torrin had a good weekend, she started on a new formula to help with spitting up. She did not spit up that much but it was coming out her nose so was getting a stuffy nose. She was also mad if we left the room without her. I guess she is becoming more aware!!! Fun Fun. Weekend at the Condo

Torrin here: Well our grandparents from K-town came in this weekend. It was great to see them. We got to go over to the condo and hang up ceiling fans and lights. It looks SO good. Mommy and Grandpa did most of the work. Finn even helped. Well sort of. She loved to climb the ladder and bang things. However Grandpa did not like her touching his screwdrivers. As for me I went to see my first piano performance. It was awesome. Finn stayed at home with mommy and slept. She was really tired. Other then that it was a great weekend. We ate, drank, and were merry. Back to daycare tomorrow! Have a good week!! and Go VOLS!!!

NO NO NO

My new favorite word is NO. I have no idea what I am say no to but it just rolls off my tongue. I do not think Mommy likes me saying no because every time she asks me a question I say no and she says YES!!! Oh well hopefully I figure out this yes / no thing soon!!! Other then that, we have a big weekend coming up. Grandma and Grandpa from Knoxville are coming in town and Torrin and I get to hang out with them. Not sure what we have planned but it should be fun. A little bit about Torrin

A little bit about me. My name is Torrin, I am the baby. I love to play on the floor and grab at my toy. I can roll from my belly to my back but only when I feel like it. I look a lot like my sister but I have blue eyes. Other then that I am getting bigger and bigger everyday and I think I am starting teeth. Hopefully they come in fast!!!

What's Kicking

A little bit about me. My name is Finn, I like the water, fruit, and my wagon. I also love my dog, Jake. I love it when he gives me kisses. This is a picture of me in his pool. My Shadow

Finn Here: Well I guess I should tell you all about my big night. So I was sitting with Mommy in bed reading some books and I looked over to my right and saw this strange thing on the wall. Mommy said it was this thing called my shadow but I was not so sure. I kept looking at it and I did not like it at all. It was waving and so was mommy and it was just weird. Finally it scared me and I started to cry and mommy was laughing. I was so not funny. Oh well guess I better go. Talk to you later

Grandma's Visit

Torrin here: We we had a big weekend. My grandma from Chicago came in. She just loves spending time with her grandbabies. I have a set of twin cousins that live down the street. They are about the same age as my sister. Grandma loves to come and cook for Mommy and Daddy. And Daddy sure likes when he does not have to cook.

So she came in on Friday and we went to my Aunt Chrissie's for dinner. It was good to see everyone. Grandma got to read books to everyone and even play with me. I am getting bigger at my last appointment I was 15 lbs 4 ozs. Ok back to the story. Then on Satuarday I stayed at home with Daddy while Mommy, Finn, and Grandma went to the Adidas Tent sale and then to Gap Clearance. I hear the tent sale was crazy and my cousin's were there too. On Sunday I hung out with grandma and we got to play a little bit so that was nice. Then my cousin's came over and went swimming with Finn. Then we made a Happy Birthday sign for our Aunt Heather. It was going to be her birthday on Monday so we thought we should do something special. Then on Monday it was back to our old routine and Grandma went home. Oh well, I like my friends at daycare so that is good.
